Accomodation was clean and up to a high standard. Very hospitable host and a lovely breakfast. (although 'full scttish' might have included haggis)Missed out on the breakfast table overlooking the Loch (get up earlier!). Sat in back room off main dining room.Might be better to rearrange dining room so all guests could have that view. All in all, an enjoyable stay.

Location

Location was a good 20 minute walk to the town and a definate taxi back up the hill required. Difficult to loacte with no signage (drove past it twice, even with a sat nav). We had great weather for our stay which helped a lot. Nice meal in Stables restaurant in the town. Visited the Ben Nevis Centre and climbed the Ben (in a cable car). Facilities at the top were a bit shabby but staff were friendly. Fort William is great for a day trip and overnight stay. Not much in the way of pub life and entertainment, still, it was a Thursday. Would recommend others to visit.

Just what we expected albeit it was a bit difficult to find

Location

We enjoyed the day out on the Jacobite Steam Special train. Dining out choices are somewhat limited (either high end or low end - not a lot in the middle and rather a lor of Chinese / Indian) and a distinct shortage of cask ales

Good value for money.

An enjoyable boat trip on Loch Linnhe. Good bus and train services to Mallaig and Drumnadrochit.

Room a little cramped . View from bedroom very good. Breakfast excellent. Area situated in OK, parking on the road.

Location

Eating out needed more research. We know Fort William but were just passing through.

I would say the rooms were very good they were clean and comfortable, the owner was friendly and the breakfasts very tasty, although we wanted them at 8.00am the first day but were told they were served from 8.30am. The area is quite built up with large blocks of flats close by which I was a bit concerned about upon arrival but it was fine and the views from our rooms were spectacular.

Location

We were there for the World Trial Championship at Nevis Range, the facilities at the range were good, unfortunately we did have time to visit other attractions but the scenery in this area is beautiful and we enjoyed looking at it as we drove up from Stranraer
