The room was small and low but with 2 windows overlooking a garden. It had no bathroom, but it shared it with only another room, and it was honestly cheap. Breakfast was good, the dining room cosy and enlightened.

Location is very central on the main street, the Great Western Road, close to the University and to the Subway.

The location of the hotel was great and the room, being on the top 4th floor, had excellent views but was very basic. The facilities were adequate but not generous and the breakfast hours were a bit limited and only ran until 8.45am which I found a bit early to finish. The staff could not advise me over the phone of parking areas which meant I wasted a lot of time trying to get parked. My room had many damaged items including a broken toilet seat, dirty headboard and broken lamp. All in all, our stay there was fine but not particularly memorable.

Location

Great location being mere minutes from Byres Rd and the Botanical Gardens. However, prior to my arrival, I would have appreciated a clearer indication from the hotel staff or hotel website of which exit to come off from the motorway into Glasgow as we ended up in the city centre which was inconvenient. I would most certainly recommend a stroll down to Kelvingrove art museum via Glasgow Unversity.

the room was i n bad condition .the carer of the hotel was absolutely rude and obnoxious. very unhappy about the service. She should not be kept to jeorpadise the hotel reputation

First of all very good value for the money. The room was clean, nicely decorated and big, and we loved the two windows. Bathroom was small but very clean.Staff was helpful, though not very friendly. Overall it was good and a next stay is very likely.

The room was a good size and value for money. Breakfast was also very good. The only problem is that there is nowhere beside the hotel to park a car.

Basic accomodation, nice staff but VERY slow with breakfast (40 minutes for a toast with jam). We end up having breakfast elsewhere as we were attending a conference and had not much time to spend in the mornings!

the breakfast was terrible. service was adequate but not very helpful or friendly. the rooms wre very spacious and well situated. unfortunately we had a broken toilet seat
