Very nice accommodation, roomy with peaceful outlook. Proprietor friendly and welcoming.
Location
We really liked Fort William and regretted that we did not have more time there. The town caters well for tourists and the mountain and loch are outstanding features.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gowan Brae and would definetely recomand for anyone who would like to discover the Highlands. The warm hospitality and the very good breakfast (multiple choices!) were the most important points to remember. Rooms and bathroom where very clean and provided with plenty of choices for the shampoo etc.

The room was top quality as was the house itself, Anne who ran it and the breakfast we ate.
Location
Ben Nevis,but the highlight as the Shinty match.

But for the small shower and limited parking, this was very pleasant. We liked the oldy world feeling, the choice of breakfast and we were made to feel very welcome. We would recommend Gowan Brae.

The Gowan Brae House is nice friendly facility and the the owner was very accomodating in our requests. Location is ideal for access to town and beyond. The breakfast will fantastic.
