The owners were gracious, welcoming and helpful. We loved our room. It fit our family of 4 perfectly, with a great view! Room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed their 2nd floor gathering room as well.

My stay at Kirklee Hotel was both comfortable and quiet. Bed was extremely comfortable, the room was nicely decorated with original art and the view outside was extensive. All rooms are en-suite which is very convenient. I thought the breakfast was very good; tasty and filling, and also served in the room itself. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants a quiet base from which to explore Glasgow.
Location
Ideally located for Glasgow University, Botanic gardens, Hillhead subway station; only a 15 minute walk. City centre; either a 40 minute walk or 10 mins by subway.

The welcome and the standard of accomodation was very good, however breakfast was disappointing. Whilst we are very happy with the arrangement of eating in our room, the cooked breakfast was not hot (the scrambled eggs were tepid)and by the third morning the food was actually cold when it reached us 15 minutes after the time scheduled, the bacon was hard and the fried eggs were also hard. This was the second time we have stayed here, the setting and location is excellent. If we stay again it will be in the hope that the breakfast experience has been improved.
Location
Proximity to museums, art galleries, shops and public transport, together with the quietness of the location within comfortable walking distance of the busy Byres Road with excellent eating places, is ideal for a city break

Beautifully maintained Hotel. Very helpful welcoming Owners and staff. Breakfast in our room meant we could not chat with other guests which was a shame though it was nice not having to dress for breakfast.
Location
We absolutely loved the Glasgow Museums, the Kings Theatre (Turandot) an excellent production and loads of places to eat to suit all pockets. We accidentally left some prints we'd bought from the Kelvingrove Museum shop, in the Cafe there. Next day we enquired and unbelievably a staff member had found them and they were waiting for us at the Service desk. We were very impressed. A lovely City, very helpful people. Just to look at a map invariably brought someone along to point out the way to this or that.

Good size room and clean and comfortable bed. It is an old house and you have to accept that it is not going to be perfect. Staff very friendly and breakfast good and served in the room so you can sit and look out at the small park outside. Very very quiet area which is excellent. Parking is goood.
Location
Excellent location for bars and restaurants in the West End. We come to Glasgow regularly and will use this hotel again.

The room was very big, very well appointed. The bathroom was one of the biggest we experienced. The owner was very helpful. Breakfast was quite good. The hotel was very quiet. The price was more reasonable than many rooms which we used.
Location
A quiet neighbourhood.
Recommendation: Instal an internet computer in th guest lounge.
