A clean efficiently run small hotel, with a full breakfast that is cooked for you as you order it. This hotel is obviously run as a family business with a close knit long time staff. I believe this represents excellent value for money. There are stairs to most rooms but the architecture and history of the building explains this and makes it all the more endearing. Certainly not boutique just honest value for money in the heart of the lively west end.

Location

The location of this hotel is perfect for the daytime activities and historic attractions that abound locally and further afield, and that are accessible via foot, taxi and the very efficient and regular bus service. My whole trip was special, but being refused entry to VODKA WODKA was a real smack in the face for me. The doorman asked 1)How much have you had to drink---NOTHING YET 2)Where are you from---AUSTRALIA And that was that, I was informed that i would not be getting in there. DON'T GO THERE. AGED 55

Friendly people, cosy atmosphere, good breakfast and -above all- very very clean. I was using the common WC and shower facilities and they were as clean as my mom's. Excellent value for money.

For this price a very good place to stay in Glasgow. Everything was clean and in a good condition. Breakfest was OK.

Fine hospitality; good location, right near the university, underground and restaurants; hice breakfast. The room was small. However, the hotel was very clean and neat. I would stay there again.
